The "Segreto di Lario" is dressed in elegance, thanks to finishes executed with the utmost care and traditional techniques: Geneva stripes, circular satin finishing, polished chamfers, and a sandblasted case back. The movement, dial, and rose gold case are meticulously decorated by skilled artisans, with an unwavering focus on fine craftsmanship. The attention to detail highlights the beauty of the work, showcasing the precision and quality of each element. The dial of the "Segreto di Lario" is beautifully crafted. Its central section, from 12 to 6 o’clock, features a vertical satin finish, which transitions into a lower section adorned with vertical Geneva stripes and polished chamfers, all rhodium-plated for added refinement. These exceptional finishes give the dial depth and brilliance, reminiscent of the changing reflections of Lake Como throughout the day.

An exclusive movement by Jean-François Mojon

At the heart of the "Segreto di Lario" beats an exclusive hand-wound movement, specially developed for BREVA GENEVE by the renowned Swiss master watchmaker Jean-François Mojon and his manufacture, Chronode. Based on the trusted Chronode C101 caliber, this modern movement features twin barrels, ensuring an exceptional 7-day power reserve that guarantees both stability and precision. Inspired by the finest measuring instruments of the past, it combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovations. The Segreto di Lario introduces an exclusive dual retrograde power reserve mechanism: the power reserve indication is split into two kinematic chains, each operating a dedicated cam. Two rack-and-pinion levers transfer the information to the hands, while twin balance springs maintain constant contact for seamless movement.
