Description

The Fears Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour takes on a form similar to the Alliance 01, housed in an elegantly curved cushion-shaped case with a few refinements compared to the original. The design of our iconic Brunswick Jump Hour evolves with new dial colors as well as a reworked dial featuring a redesigned minute track and various finishing options.

Graceful and complex, the curvaceous silhouette of the Brunswick is inspired by a gentleman’s cushion case watch from the Fears archives, first created in 1924.

CASE The Brunswick’s elegant 40.5 mm cushion-shaped case features no flat surfaces, with even the solid case back gently curved. The graceful curves of the case are machined from 316L stainless steel with a finish typically reserved for precious metals. The depth of the polish highlights the sophistication of the machinery and the artisan’s skill.

The traditional "onion-shaped" winding crown, adorned with the Fears monogram, features fine grooves that catch the light, adding a touch of brilliance to the edge of the case.

DIAL Mimicking the sheen and intricate detail of a raven’s feathers, the Raven Black dial combines a deep black hue with refined finishes.

The surface of the dial features finely engraved concentric guilloché deeply set into the central minute section. Beyond this, the outer area of the dial is delicately sunburst finished, radiating toward the edges. Minimal white ink printing creates a distinct contrast.

As a jump hour watch, the dial does not feature hour numerals. Instead, the hour is displayed through a window at 12 o’clock. The hour disc is coated with a glossy white lacquer, onto which the hours are printed in black ink using Fears' custom "Edwin" typeface, specially adapted for display in a round window.

MOVEMENT The Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour is powered by a Swiss automatic JJ01 movement, developed in-house by Christopher Ward (originally used in the Fears x Christopher Ward Alliance 01 and now exclusively reserved for Fears).

Based on a Sellita SW200, this movement is highly accurate, regulated to Chronometer standards.

STRAP The Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour Raven Black is fitted with a handmade black strap crafted from buffalo leather (sourced from the Himalayas), lending a sophisticated feel to the watch. This premium leather is one of the strongest and most durable available.

AMOS BOX The entire Fears collection is now presented in a slim, rectangular wooden box crafted from solid ash and stained in a bespoke Fears Blue color. Inspired by traditional slim Fears watch boxes, the design reflects the company’s heritage.
