FURLAN MARRI _ Disco Verde
Description
A modern Disco Volante housed in a 38mm case, powered by the manually wound Peseux 7001 mechanical movement, reimagined in Geneva with hand-beveled bridges.
Measuring just 2.5mm thick, the Caliber 7001 was the perfect choice for this project, aligning with the watchmakers’ commitment to maintaining the slim profile of the original release. Its compact dimensions fit seamlessly within the new 38mm case, creating a manually wound watch that revives the Art Deco aesthetic. The design draws inspiration from the 1930s to 1950s while introducing an intermediate case diameter for contemporary appeal.
Furlan Marri has taken great care to redesign the movement bridges, adding hand-finished, diamond-polished edges. The crown wheel and screws are black-polished, with chamfering around the stones. All beveling is executed by hand in Geneva (Meyrin, Switzerland) under the meticulous guidance of Sébastien Rousseau, Furlan Marri’s technical manager.
