The model Ref.1120-OB "Silver Obsidian" features a dial made from silver obsidian.

Silver obsidian is a natural material, specifically a type of natural glass formed by the rapid cooling of volcanic lava. The obsidian used for this dial originates from Mexico.

This material, rich in shades and marbling, lends this model a depth that no varnish could replicate.

For its shaping, the rock is first roughly cut, shaped, drilled, and finally polished. A delicate process, considering that obsidian's thickness is less than a millimeter!
