MODEL 01: LAUNCH EDITION

The first edition is a limited series of only 50 pieces. The KAURI watches were conceived to be original, unique, and especially durable, particularly through an innovative design of the case, composed of a steel structure ensuring the watch's water resistance and the attachment of the bracelet, allowing the wood to solely adorn the watch.

The octagonal design of the casing made of precious wood, which each buyer can personally select, highlights the uniqueness of each wood essence. Five rare or precious wood essences are available for this initial model (a few pieces still available).

-The Broussin de Bruyère, a wood used to craft smoking pipes, boasts a very aesthetic "flame" grain. -Macassar Ebony, an epitome of precious wood, brings a natural elegance to the watch with its black color. -Swiss Ebony is walnut wood from sustainable forests in Switzerland. It undergoes an innovative compression process, giving it characteristics similar to natural ebony, hence the name "Swiss ebony." -Kingwood or Violetwood, with its contrasting grain, is one of the densest and hardest woods in the world. -Kauri wood, honored by the brand by taking its name, is aged between 30,000 and 50,000 years, making it one of the oldest woods available. It is a remnant of trees preserved in peat, an acidic environment without contact with oxygen, which has kept it in perfect condition for tens of thousands of years.
